FORGE Intercooler for the Hyundai i30N Mk3.5 Facelift

The Forge Motorsport front mount intercooler kit is designed for the Hyundai i30N MK3.5 facelift. It is a plug-and-play upgrade developed to replace the restrictive OEM intercooler and improve performance, especially on tuned vehicles or cars used in hot climates.

Thanks to the larger bar and plate core, high-flow cast end tanks, and optimized internal design, this intercooler helps reduce intake air temperatures and prevents power loss caused by heat soak. The turbo-side end tank includes an internal divider to make full use of the stepped core volume.

Compared to the factory intercooler, the Forge Motorsport intercooler offers:

• Over 129% more core volume
• Over 71% larger frontal surface area
• 65 mm inlet and outlet diameter
• 27% more flow volume compared to the OEM cooler
• Upgraded hot-side hard pipe with 64 mm diameter, replacing the factory 50 mm pipe
• Black textured powder coated finish for long-lasting durability

During testing, the intercooler showed a significant improvement in cooling performance. After multiple dyno runs, intake air temperatures remained at a safe level, with the Forge intercooler reducing temperatures from around 48°C with the OEM intercooler to approximately 24°C.

On a Stage 2 calibrated vehicle fitted with Forge Motorsport intake components, power increased from 358 bhp with the stock intercooler and intake to 381.2 bhp and 371.4 lb/ft of torque with the Forge Motorsport parts installed. Dyno graphs are shown in the product images.

The kit includes all necessary hardware for installation. Fitting time is approximately 2.5 hours, depending on experience and tools available.
